Our Spaces
Auburn Public Theater is a multi-venue performing arts center boasting seven unique spaces to support all of your event planning needs. Each space and its benefits are listed below to better help you curate your perfect wedding, birthday party, or other special event.
Main Stage
Raised stage, professional lighting & sound, tiered 199-seat proscenium style theater.
Cinema
65 seats, high-definition digital projection (great for powerpoints, business presentations, & streaming), 7.1-Channel Surround Sound, concession counter. Also available for children’s birthday parties.
Stage Right
Bistro seating for up to 75 people, raised stage with lighting and sound, bar service, catering facilities.
Studio
Perfect as a wedding prep space, our Studio boasts a wall of mirrors and room for 20. This space is also available to rent for classes.
The Owasco Room
One of our newest spaces that screams “host your event here”! Newly finished to accommodate 200 guests with brand new bathrooms, HVAC, and a catering kitchen (our seventh space) attached. This expansive ballroom is ADA-accessible via our new elevator and features a grand staircase entering off of Genesee Street. The Owasco Room lends itself to your wildest design possibilities!
Black Box
Our Black Box is a wonderful addition to APT. It’s perfect to stage a performance, rehearse your material, host a class, or use it as a dance floor for your wedding. Our Black Box also features its own dressing room with bathroom access.
