Sunny Hernandez, SYRACUSE – Auburn Public Theater and The Finger Lakes Drive-In are collaborating on a series of socially distanced summer events. The live music and movie nights kick off this week.

For their first music and movie night, band Petty Thieves will perform songs from Tom Petty and his inspirations at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3. Following the live music will be a screening of “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” at 9 p.m. There will be an introduction of the movie by APT’s Executive Director Carey Eidel who also had a role in the movie. Eidel will share stories from being on set with Steven Spielberg.

Tickets for the event are $10 for ages 12 and up, $4 for children age 5-11, and 4 and under are free. Advance purchase of the tickets is encouraged and patrons are asked to have their tickets pulled up on their phone ready to scan upon entrance. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite or through the Auburn Public Theater’s website.
