Auburn Public Theater will kick off a three-night run of concerts spanning blues, rockabilly and soul beginning Thursday, Feb. 21.
Taking the stage that night at 8 will be Jontavious Willis.
From Greenville, Georgia, the 22-year-old has been playing the blues ever since seeing a video of Muddy Waters playing “Hoochie Coochie Man” on YouTube. Willis plays Delta, Piedmont, Texas, gospel and other styles of blues on guitar, harmonica, banjo and cigar box. He’s currently completing a sociology major at Columbus State University as well.
