After a well-received run in February, the show “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf” will return to Auburn Public Theater for two shows this weekend.

Written by poet Ntozake Shange, the show takes the form of choreographed spoken word. Shange’s poems will be performed by a cast of local women, the newly formed Tubman Troupe, who are directed by Gwen Webber-McLeod. The performers are Vanessa Campbell, Cari Clark, Jasmine Freeman, Jeanice Freeman, Kina Kamara, Ashley McLeod, Kasquana Mitchell, Kizzy Mitchell and Juh-anna Rogers, and the show’s choreographer is Heather McNeil.
