The last time comedians Al Ducharme and Bernadette Pauley came to perform in Auburn, they didn’t tell the audience they were husband and wife until the end of their sets.
This time, they figure everyone’s wise to the act.
Ducharme and Pauley will return to Auburn Public Theater Friday, about five years after first performing there. The couple, who have been together for almost 14 years and currently live in Los Angeles, remember the Auburn crowd as “open-minded, gracious and sincerely friendly,” Pauley said: “It was far enough away from New York City to escape some of the baloney.”
