Mecca’s Blog: David Garibaldi aftermath review!

Welcome to the blog of APT’s Fall 2017 Marketing Intern, Mecca Brooks! Mecca will share her reflections on the amazing artists performing live in Auburn this season. You never know who you’ll see at the Auburn! We hope you enjoy this installment of Mecca’s blog @ APT.

David Garibaldi was amazing. When I think of a guy painting I think of a quiet room where if you say something everyone looks at you, wondering how someone so uncultured ever got in the room. But this was very special, very personal and intimate. I felt so energized during and after the show. David is so positive, and I think after a lot of sadness in the world we’ve seen come to the forefront we all deserve a break. But he was already in my good graces when I saw him on GTLive. I was so jazzed and I knew he was so busy that I didn’t even think to sit down with him. I mean he did paint for the Obama’s. LIKE COME ON. OBAMA. David Garibaldi deserves everything good in his life because he’s humble, but I don’t have to be when I talk about him! Here’s some footage from the show! And as always make sure you follow us on Instagram and Snapchat, @aubpubtheater, to see exclusive footage from a show!
