Volunteer at Auburn Public Theater
Love the stage or cinema? Stand-up comedy, live music, rap contests, talent shows?
Are you a people person – or maybe the type who likes to quietly pitch in and make good things happen?
At Auburn Public Theater, volunteers are among the key reasons for our success – and all the fun we have.
There’s always plenty to do. Volunteers prepare the stage, backstage and hospitality areas; tend to the box office, bar and concession counter; assist as ushers and tidy up after the crowd goes home – yet never take a bow!
Around town, volunteers distribute posters and flyers of upcoming events. They gather costumes, props and set furnishings, and return them after a show's run.
Those are just a few of the ways our cheerful, diligent volunteers make it a joy to produce and see shows at Auburn Public Theater. If you’d like to help out – whether for an occasional hour or on a regular basis – we invite you to call 315-253-6669 or e-mail Janie MicGlire, volunteer coordinator, at janie@auburnpublictheater.org.
