Sydney Irving is a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from upstate NY. She started playing guitar when she was 9 and began writing her own songs at the age of 11. Sydney ‘s music has a folk-pop-rock sound with catchy rhythms and thoughtful lyrics. She’s been greatly influenced by Tom Petty, Taylor Swift, and Eddie Vedder. Sydney’s a singer and plays guitar and ukulele.   

Sydney released her debut album, Hello Stranger in February 2017, which includes 8 songs written and performed by her. She is already working on material for her next album, which should be out sometime in 2018.  

Sydneys new album is being released on November 18th 2018. More details are going to be released soon.  

Sydney has played out all over the Syracuse area, including opening up for the Jess Novak Band at the 2017 Tomato Fest. While in middle school Sydney won her schools talent show, and this year as a ninth grader she took third place in the high school talent show.  Known for her smooth voice and unique sound, she’s an “American Girl.”
