Join our Creative Cluster: A 12 Week Course in The Artist’s Way

Spring 2018: Dates TBA. Cost is $180.

The Artist’s Way movement began more than two decades ago as author Julia Cameron shared her ideas with a few friends in her living room. Today, The Artist’s Way has helped millions of people around the world discover – and recover – their creativity. Whether you’re brand-new to The Artist’s Way or have a bookshelf filled with years of Morning Pages journals, whether you are working on a large artistic project or simply wishing to experience more creativity in your life, welcome to our Creative Cluster! Morning pages and artists dates will be required of everyone in the group.

Melissa Killeleagh

Melissa Killeleagh is a “mompreneur” with a vision for adding value to every life she encounters. Life truly began for her just before turning 40, with the birth of her son. With undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ithaca College and Binghamton University, she worked in public finance for 10 years before trading in full-time work for her part-time business in social marketing. While having two incomes was great, Melissa felt that having more time to truly live her life was even better. She gave up on society’s suggested “mileposts” for success in life and began to design a life guided by her own values, relationships, and Winston Churchill’s notion that “we make a living by what we get, and we make a life by what we give.” Her passion and purpose are building strong relationships, creating dynamic communities, inspiring leadership from the heart, and being a catalyst for the critical shift in paradigm our world needs right now, which her son Jack inspires her to do and be every day.  After connecting with Artistic Director Angela Daddabbo at the 2017 National Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Weekend this past September, she accepted an invitation to participate in APT’s first round of Julia Cameron’s “Artist’s Way” 12-week guided series, which began ON her 40th birthday.  As a way to say thank you to Angela and APT, and to support others on their own creative journeys, Melissa will be facilitating the next round of this 12-week series beginning January 3rd, 2018.
